Cunha’s Chardonnay is a handcrafted wine honoring the rich heritage of the Coastside’s Cunha family and its historic store on Main Street in Half Moon Bay. On May 21, 2003, the landmark Cunha's Country Store burned down. The outpouring of support from the entire Coastside was a tribute to the community spirit exhibited by Coastsiders. The store was rebuilt by Bev Cunha Ashcraft and her family with the help and support of the community. This wine comes from premium Chardonnay grapes from well-established vines on California’s North Coast. Cool ocean breezes and fertile, well-drained soil provide ideal growing conditions.
