2011 Sangiovese from Mendocino

SANGIOVESE ‘NOIR’ is a blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Petite Sirah. Its robust and rich black wild cherry and ripe berry flavors, plus earthy savoriness from the Syrah and Petite Sirah, fill the mouth with pleasure and combine with rich foods to satisfy the most demanding palate. This wine pair with game (wild pig, venison, elk), as well as pork shoulder roast and hot Italian sausages. It will age beautifully for 10 years.
